My Therapeutic Approach:
You might often hear people talk about their therapeutic approach in relation to Counselling & Psychotherapy. What this means is what method your counsellor will use with you in order to address your problems, the different methods vary from therapist to therapist and you should find one that will work in a way that suits you and your needs.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is my core therapeutic approach which I hold my Master’s Degree in, however I also work from an integrative perspective to best suit the client’s individual needs. Other approaches adopted vary from Adlerian, Behavioural, Brief Therapy, Gestalt, Humanistic, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person Centred, Psychodynamic, Rogerian and Solution Focused Brief Therapy
