Maria Gleeson – M.A., P. Grad., B.A., B.B.S
I am a fully trained, qualified, and accredited Counsellor, Psychotherapist, and Clinical Supervisor with over 16 years’ experience working in mental health services. I hold a Master’s Degree (Hons) in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from the Irish College of Humanities and Applied Sciences (ICHAS) and a Post Graduate Degree (Hons) in Clinical Supervision in Professional Practice. Prior to completing my Master’s Degree, I graduated from ICHAS with a B.A. (Hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy. In addition to this I also hold a BBS (Hons) in Services Marketing, a Diploma in Disability Studies & a Diploma in Training and Education in Supported Employment.
I have extensive experience in the area of Mental Health and have worked in various roles in a Mental Health Training Centre in Clonmel since 2004. During my studies I also spent three years working as a counsellor with Cuan Saor Women’s refuge offering one to one sessions with service users.
In 2015 I opened my own Private Practice in Clonmel offering my services to children, adolescents, and adults.
